• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I tried to install EditVoicePack 3.1 but have no idea where to get .net1.1.4322?
Will EditVoicePack X work in FS2004??
Thanks

No, EvpX does not work in FS2004.

The .NET framework is available here (this fancy google thing finds it if you search for ".net framework 1.1"):

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en

Notice Win7 is not on the list of supported operating systems - it can apparently be installed, but I never tried.

Or download Evp31 again from www.editvoicepack.com, I just removed the check for the .NET Framework. My extensive test (start Evp, update voicepack, close Evp) indicate it does run fine under the .NET 2.0 framework - if it turns out it doesn't I have no intention to do anything about it.

Thanks so much for the reply. I finally found the .net I needed. MS sure makes
it difficult to find needed files!!

Got everything loaded and working. Now, reading instructions, what does it take to create a ICAO that EVP will recognize?
Like to try and add ATC to aircraft carrier, if possible.

Well, I don't think this idea is going to work. More reading, I see a aircraft.cfg is required for carrier and models do not have it.
Thanks for your help again.

Not sure why you couldn't add ATC to a carrier. I suppose you could create an airport on your carrier. Then you can setup EVP to call your carrier by it's name. Maybe a little tricky to not have ATC call the carrier "airport"(for AI use, anyway).
