Hi all,
I've written a simple VB program to convert Navigraph SID/STAR data to FSNavigator .ss file format. It's really just a stop-gap until Navigraph start releasing the data in FSNav format but I've run into a problem: the .ss files in FSNavigator appear to contain a checksum field, usually 3 alphanumeric characters that render the file useless if changed
Airport]
Valid=xyz
[EOF]
Valid=xyz
If anyone knows how to generate the field I'd be grateful. I'm more than happy to share the source code for my program but can't share the data as it's dedicated payware. Hope you understand.
All the best
Ian
ps I've written to Helge but have so far received no reply. I'm never sure nowadays whether that's a reply in it's own right or whether the recipient is away or too busy to respond. Hence this posting!
