FSX Autogen on Custom Terrain Textures

Hi everyone,

I have started to explore scenery design in FSX, but I've been having problems getting autogen to show up over a custom terrain texture. FSX resample produces a BGL file, which wants to live in /scenery, and the annotator produces .agn files as before. I tried placing the .agn files from FSX's annotator in /texture, but it doesn't work. Should the .agn files be included in the BGL, or should the textures in the BGL be extracted for custom autogen to work, or something else?

Thanks!

Steve

Well, I figured it out. Apparently annotator will place .agn files in the same directory as the BGL if it can't find a /texture directory in the usual place. In my case, I had called it textures and that was the root of my autogen problems. :banghead:
