• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I'm not sure what the perceived problem is ...

but working from your screenshots:

You are concerned that your CPU core loading is not complete in FSX?

GPU seems underloaded and you would like to increase the load on it?

The FPS you are getting are not acceptable?

Things you can try:

Update FSX to SP2
Add an affinity mask setting in FSX.cfg (usually 14) to change the use of cores by FSX -- having said that I don't use such an entry.

Possibly more of a "tweaking" question than a developing one ... but there may be some ideas out there.

As I understand, from what I've read here and at so many other forums... FSX and FS9 are more CPU and RAM intensive than GPU, although a powerful GPU is a definite benefit. From what I see, your FPS looks very acceptable. What's it like at a busy international airport while looking at the terminals?

I had my system FPS limited to 32 for multiplayer, same in FS9, and it was always "pegged" at 32 no matter where, when, or how... Then suddenly FSX decided it wouldn't run, repair, reinstall... Na Da! So, unfortunately I can't give any "unlimited" FPS data from me to you...

I never tried the affinity tweak but it seems to help some multi-core PCs so maybe that would be your only avenue.

Good Luck!!

I re install FSX but now gpu use %0 :S cpu %50-70

and FSX SP2 don't install..I run fsx_sp2_ENU.exe

Microsoft Flight simulator X service pack2 requires the english version of flight simulator X

but I'm using english
