GIMP Tiffs Help needed

Hi Folk

I am just wondering if any one has successfully exported a Tiff from GIMP with land-watermask channel and Blend mask channel as well as the background photo.
I am able to export to PSD with all channels in tact but if I export to Tif it loses the last channel which is the blend mask.

Other than that does anyone know of a PSD to Tiff converter other than photoshop that will preserve all the channels

I only have a 30 day trial version of Photoshop and it is way of the budget for me to purchase so I am looking for tools that can save the rgb and the 2 alpha channels.
Any help appreciated ,as I really like working with the Geotiff format with the channel infomation preserved.

Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,

I still have to test that in the GIMP, but that is certainly something I still want to do. I'll let you know once I got some results.

Thanks Arno,

It sure would be great to use Gimp. I know Photoshop is to expensive for me though I like it, Gimp is Free quite powerful and reads a photoshop tif with all its channels but when exporting from gimp only puts out one alpha channel ie the land water mask and not the additional blend mask
I'll still work on it though and check around some gimp forums

Thanks
Greg
