Howdy all,
To reduce drawcalls I'd like to re-map several objects onto one big texture sheet. I'm aware of the Smart UV reproject feature in Blender and the SimpleBake addon, however that tends to scatter things all over the place and lead to a cluttered, unoptimized UV.
What I'd really like is a tool that can simply import multiple objects and reproject the UVs to a grid pattern (similar to the default MS vehicles, see attached), then export the textures and models. Does such a tool exist? I recall doing something like this several years ago, but the method now escapes me...
Thanks!
