• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Guys its been awhile since Ive been here. Real world
stuff has kept me very busy.

Ok here is my question.

I've just about gotten my terminal building
completed. I'm looking for some jetways to use.
I have'nt been happy with most of the ones Ive
seen so far. However I have a scenery that is kinda
old but has some of the best jetways Ive found.

Is there a way that I can use those ?(only for me )
I guess what Im asking is is there away I can
use them in a library and have them be unlocked?
Like decompile make an xml and mdl then bgl ? If thats
the right way.

I'm using FS9 and FSDS ez scenery.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Well you're probably opening a can of worms here but yes there is a way. I'm not going to disclose it because this is a very touchy subject, even when it's only for personal use. Me personally, I could care less if someone uses my work only for their own personal work. Other people have a completely different opinion.

Just like all things in life, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

That's all I'm saying, I'm ducking into my foxhole now, I N C O M M I N G !!!!!

Hi, Well I can understand. I guess I should've mentioned
that before I even posted here that I did make an effort to
contact the person of the scenery that I wanted to get the jetways from. I emailed that person using both emails
they had in their readme file. However both emails bounced back
saying something to the effect of no longer valid.
I also searched on a couple of sites to see if the guy had created anything else. I came up empty handed. The scenery
is about 3 years old and was created for FS9.

Im not gonna release the scenery I create and if I was
I would give the guy proper credit.

Sooo I guess if no one wants to help out I understand.

Thanks
Mike
