Hi Everyone.
I'm having problems with object placement at high altitudes. More specifically the problem where objects I place at high altitudes are shifted from where I originally place them. I know the method of adding blank animations to stop it, but I want to know more about why these shifts happen.
My question to everyone, is there any logic to why the objects shift at high altitudes? Does the Latitude/Longitude and Altitude have an affect on what direction and how much the objects shift? Or is the high altitude shift problem a random thing? Has anyone worked out a formula that could work out how much offset and direction/angle to compensate for? I would love to work out a way that we could add in the coordinates and altitude of where the object needs to be and it works out the offset that is required to place the object in the correct location.
Cheers
