• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

hey arno,
not sure if you noticed this. But the links to forum threads within thread are not really working. The links to the wiki is alright. But not to another thread.

Can you give an example of a link that no longer works? Then I can figure out where it goes wrong.

Good morning, wherever you may be!

As this is my first post, I would like to start out by saying "haartelijk bedankt" to Arno and his team for making this wonderful website possible.

I think heclak is right - browsing the subforums doesn't seem to work any more. Back at "scenerydesign.org" you could go to any subforum and see all the threads.

Well, these might be some of the proverbial "teething problems" of a new forum. Or maybe I just haven't figured it out. But the "old system" certainly was easier to use!

Dirk

That link works fine for me, it is redirected to the correct thread at FsDeveloper. Is that not working for you?

i'm not sure if you got the right link. i meant the link in the thread of the link i posted above. sounds confusing? you posted a link in the thread and it doesn't work for me.

here a direct copy of the link you posted in the thread. It says scenerydesign.org too. i keep getting a thread not found/valid error.

The links to scenerydesign.org are redirected to fsdeveloper.com, so that should not be the problem. But now that I looked again, I see that this link points to a deleted post (as a administrator I can still see it though).

That tutorial has been moved to the Wiki, so that is why the post on the forum no longer exists. You can find it here.
