• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi,

This is my first post on these forums since I live in a world focused on my screen full of code these days I really never knew it was here.

My name is Mike and I am the developer of VAFS, http://www.vafinancials.com

I am looking for person(s) who enjoy working on code for hours at a time who ask hardly nothing in return other than the occasional "WOW THATS AWESOME" but who can deal with the everyday "HEY THIS IS NOT WORKING" comments (not from me by the way, I like to have fun and do not complain a lot). I know, that is asking a lot LOL.

Seriously though I am looking for someone or a couple individuals that are experianced in C++, C#, or .NET to join me in the on going development of VAFS.

The reason? Well I am not fluent in those languages as much as I am in VB and I feel that to get VAFS to the level I want I do need help. People have told me that what I have created is good, but I know with the right people it could be much much better.

Current stats:
Virtual Airlines Signed Up: 454 (i consider 50% are real and not test airlines)
Pilots signed up to use the system: 3132

Yeah it is kinda getting a little large these days. I never really advertised it either.

And you are right in saying that it does become a second job LOL.

No one has replied so I will just keep pushing along bit by byte with it.

The key for me is not to become over focused and just do what I can do :)
