I get an error message, which I don't understand when minimizing draw calls. Can anyone help. This is my first SketchUp model for FSX. See attachment.

Hi Ron,

Looks like you found a bug in the tool. When you click on Details in the error message are there additional error message that could help me to find what goes wrong?

Hello Arno,
Thanks for your reply.
When I restarted the error did not show. Problem solved, hopefully.
I now cannot save as an MDL file or to be more precise it is saved as a shortcut.
I checked the that the textures were to the power of 2, saved them, yet I still get a warning that 4 of the 19 textures are not to the power of 2.
All the textures seem to be saved OK.
Also, is it possible to use ModelConverterX without FSX being installed. I have a laptop and find it useful as an alternative to a desktop to use SketchUp.
Regards Ron

Hi Ron,

The drawcall minimizer will only affect textures that are not repeating on the your model. So if you have one that is tiled, it will stay as it is. If that one has a size that is not a power of two you will get the warning. Using the Mass Texture Editor should help you to resize those as well.

You can use ModelConverterX without FSX, but to be able to export to MDL files you need to have the SDK installed.
