Hello!
I am working in a livery for the PMDG 737 and decided to take things a bit further by replacing some of PMDG's textures with my own. However, I have noticed that MSFS automatically compresses and lowers the resolution of a texture when you get far away from it and while this is a good thing for performance it looks absolutely horrible when done on something like the spinning engine fan hubs. You don't have to go very far away for them to become very low resolution.
I wonder if there is a way to stop this compression from happening on a specific texture sheet? I don't know if it's relevant but when I look in the JSON file I find this:
{"Version":2,"SourceFileDate":133016082668597677,"Flags":["FL_BITMAP_COMPRESSION","FL_BITMAP_MIPMAP"],"HasTransp":true}
Does FL_BITMAP_COMPRESSION have anything to do with it?
Thanks for any help!
