Oh, Rick - wonderful! I've 'flown' along the Columbia several times, and am pretty well aware of Washington's landscapes, geography and natural history anyway. I know it's not all Boeing. From memory, your location places you not far from (shudder) Mt. St. Helens (V2.0) (Or maybe that's V7.8 or something, over geological time .. ). Well, though I live in a particularly pleasant and scenic part of Aus, the landscape of which was long ago formed by a huge shield volcano, I'm not sure it'd beat the natural endowments of Washington. At least Mt. Warning is now extinct and the area eroded down to 4,000 ft. And I have no doubt it's warmer here in winter!
Anyway, you're a busy man, so I won't keep you much longer. Nor will I be trying (even were it technically possible) to use your software to hack the NSA, CIA, FBI, MI5 or whatever. And I wouldn't dream of trying to sell your Gable Marker package. But the notion of zipping it with that red hangar sounds just fine, if and when time affords. Oh - I almost forgot. I see from our TV news services that some US V-22's were on the Queensland coast last week, taking part in big military exercises involving the US Marines, Air Force, Navy and Army, and of course the RAAF, Australian Army and Navy and so forth. I don't think the North Koreans were there, though. But the Chinese naval spy ships were!
Later today I'll drop everything else and fire up FSX for a sortie along the Columbia. First, I'll check out your immediate area. Look out for me - perhaps in Carenado's C208B - though you should by then be in bed. Probably I won't see much, then. I hope the bridge is still there for you this time tomorrow evening. Wave to the V-22 drivers; I hope they don't fly through your front door. If they don't hit the bridge, the way I fly, I might.
No need to reply, Rick. Once more, many thanks. Sleep well.
