I've been working on a Cessna 152 for a little while now and I'm currently in the process of texturing it. I've run into a problem where I've applied a texture to the window but accidentally applied the wrong texture but since then I've saved so I've tried to remove the texture other ways unsuccessfully. Getting rid of the UVW gizmo and unwrap remove the texture but leaves the polygons white and I can't apply anymore textures to it using the material editor. Dragging textures from the material navigator will overwrite the current one so I dragged a "none" texture to it which overwrote the previous one but for some reason when applying a completely new texture using the material editor, the old texture gets applied and I have no idea how it remembers the old texture. Is there some sort of way to properly get rid of the texture? I'm still not familiar with all the workings of gmax. Thanks.
