This is kinda technical related so I hope someone out there can help. Last week MS did a 'cumlative update' that really screwed up my system causing it to freeze up after 10 secs. Ok, I managed to fix that problem by removing the update and stopping any further updates for now. The system's running ok now, but I think it must have done something to my FSX , because now I'm getting some serious stuttering especially during turns either on the ground or in the air. I updated my video driver to the latest Jul 22,2025 update. that kind of removed SOME of the stuttering, but still not enough. I read on many other sites that said to delete all of my 'shaders' folders, I did that, some better performance and the stuttering isn't quite as anoying but not like it was before all the MS mess that screwed things up. Now I've heard of some 'tweaks' that can be done to the .cfg file, but I can't find them anywhere. Are there some .cfg tweaks that I can do and what are they or where can I find them? I've tried lowering all the sliders and it didn't help any. And before anyone says I need to upgrade my GPU, yes, I know that, but...everything was doing great until the MS update that messed everything up. I'm just wandering if that update could have screwed up my .cfg file in some way. I did make a backup of it and let FSX make a completely new one to see what that does, No change at all. So, any suggestions?
