• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Hello,
...a little Problem... :)

I am still relativly new in blender.
Now, i have created Engine Covers which i can Enable/Disable via a LVar, that works fine.
Theni have created Wheel chocks, they works too, making them Visible, but the are under the Ground because
the Wheel Spring is dumped.

In Blender i set the at the Hight of the Wheel lower end, but then in MSFS they are under the Ground.

The Problem is a bit complicated for me, i dont know how to get them moving with the hight of the Wheel Center, especially because the WHEEL_C, which i made as Parent for testing,
is not in the same collection and LOD.

Has anyone a Tip how to do that ?

Thanks
Matthias

One way to get the wheel chocks to stay in place is by creating an attachment point for them on the tires. This can be done by going into the 'Contact Points' section and setting a numbered point where you want the chocks to be. Then, you can use the 'Attachpoint' tool in Model Converter X to tie them to this spot. This way, when the tires move, the chocks will move along with them. Give it a try and see how it works for you.
