Hello
I'm new in FSDS3; I tried to build a house, with a box, and a triangular based tube for roof over it. When created, the roof was not at its right place, and I moved it to adjust to the box.
I succeeded with texturing. 3D Preview is Ok.
I created the mdl file, then included in a personal library bgl file, installed in FSX.
I use FS9 bglcomp and makemdl.
When using FSX and Instant scenery placer, my house is available, with good textures, but the roof is not correctly placed! It seems to be still at the place it was created first before being moved.
I can't understand why it happens. Is it a problem caused by using a FS9 object in FSX?
I read that a xtomdl exists? Where is it available? Do I need to replace FS9 Bglcomp with FSX one, and MakeMdl with XtoMdl?
Other question: is it possible to keep basic forms already created (like a roof) to be reused in other projects (as in EOD)?
Thanls for help! Pierrot - FMEP
