I have not posted an installment in this series for quite some time:
http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/se...&t=post&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[user][0]=995
But I've just discovered yet another "Must_Have" Ruby plugin script, so here's another one, which can help prevent confusion and problems when modeling in Sketchup using / exploding groups or components, drawing on the Google Terrain Snapshot and/or Google Terrain layers etc.

"TIG-LayerWatcher:
A new tool to maintain some sanity...
Runs in the background.
Dialog [Y|N] when setting Current-Layer away from "Layer0".
Silently assigns "Layer0" to all newly added Geometry [Edges and Faces] irrespective of the Current-Layer or the Entities 'context', including any Geometry resulting from Exploding Groups or Components, which themselves might have other Layers."
Hope this helps !
