• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

opening another thread regarding custom landclass.
Theres a easy or at least very understandable way to create a seamless custom texture set in fsx?
I can find many tutorials on the web, but only for single generic texture, like leafs tree, grass, sand, wood, and so on, but nothing related with fsx.
Any help will be very appreciated:)

You could share the answer.

Perhaps no one answered your question, because no one in the forums really knew.

so here we are, there are some picture....I suppose we know what are the most commons programs like dxtbmp, Photoshop and save them in the correct format.....and specially how import your custom texture...there's a clear tutorial just here:

http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19578

first you need some type of landclass to modify, I choose the set 005a2fax, import in PS from dxtbmp, and make your modifications as you prefer.Duplicate 4 times the same image and mark each texture with a number...so you can identify the exact pattern and to know the pattern loop.Rename with the same default texture and save them in bmp or jpeg, and convert them in dxtbmp, once again.

Drag them in your myscenery/scenery/texture folder and launch the sim, the texture will show up.
Of course you need a raster bgl file with the same type of landclass within the same fsx region.

...all this stuff is only WIP, so dont blame me about poor colors, bad definitions etc etc.

The best thing for me is open a new project 4096x2048, and put all texture here.
Above, the first four texture for reference and below, the others 4 to modify.
Once terminated save all in psd format for backup, and again, save each texture in 1024x1024 sheet in psd format....but Im not a PS master, only a "aficionado", you can using the best method that suits your needs

sorry for my poor english.:(
