• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Stock Airport Data

Hi,

I currently have an issue with my airport, not sure if new or its been there all along, where my sim native flight planner only shows direct GPS flight planning, and all waypoints for High and Low Altitude IFR won't display (yes I have made sure they are not filtered out). When I disable my airport, they come back alive. This is for Flight Planning between any airports, not just mine.

i created the airport by importing from ADE , and I suspect something within the airport data must be corrupting the sim. When loading the airport, the airport data file only brings ICAO code, and "NO STATE". Everything else is blank such as city, country, am I supposed to fill it out the blanks and from what data?

I also tried this creating the airport edit within Dev Mode and get the same results.

Perhaps the issue is elsewhere but this is where I starts.

This same airport fails the Marketplace enceyption process as well...and several developers have tried to find issues with no luck. The airport works fine outside of Marketplace, except for the above.

Thanks!

Okay, let's take it step by step. When you use ADE, it can remove several things from the default airport, or perhaps you accidentally deleted navigation data like approaches, standard departures, and others. You can check this by selecting your airport in the Scenery Editor and then looking at the properties. At the bottom, there's a section called "Delete Command" where you can see if your stock airport project is deleted or not.

Afterward, fill in the airport data according to the information you have, and leave the rest blank. It’s not necessary to fill in everything. Remember to press Enter to confirm the changes. For example, enter the city and press Enter.

I’m not sure how else to help, but maybe if you create a project from scratch in the SDK and gradually import the assets from your project, it might work.
