• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It worked!
Apologize to those that were so inquisitive as to read all this.
In reality I am not that dumb, you know!
let us try once more so as not to forget how I did it:

Dear oh dear, I could have seen if it worked in the preview:banghead:.

Your last post didn't work (you have a stray "IMG")

Upload your pic and when finished, highlight the text in "Forum Code" and copy/paste into your reply:

But it worked, George:confused:?
Because I see it.
I know I can attach some files to my thread but then they come in an attachment and I was kind of envious of the others that could put in bigger pictures or screenshots.
And sometimes it can be of some help to have a bigger or higher res image iof what one is trying to ask for help for.
There mustn't be too many interesting threads to reply to if you start to comment on mine here:D?
Why do you not help me out then with this mesh problem in the Terrain Design General where I am rather lost as Arno and Ngix think too high of me:) and forget that I am new to this stuff.

I wear spectacles when working on my PC.
If all people would be as finnicky as you are........:D
Ok, here we go again:

That better?

Thanks, by the way.

Testing complete!

Hi,

Guess I have to figure how to do it correctly. Perhaps the last image was perfect but for the anti aliasing but when you click on the image you get to see all my uploaded pictures!
Let us try this once again then (awfully sorry):

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

NOOOOOOOOOOO, it still gives you all my images if you click on the photo!

Once more:

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/17/oostendeportflyover.jpg/'><img src='http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/9475/oostendeportflyover.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>Uploaded with <a target='_blank' href='http://imageshack.us'>ImageShack.us</a>

Got it. Had to change some things in preferences to keep the other pictures private, I think? :).

Geesss or blimey... I got it wrong again. Except when clicking on the last one, you can still see all my pictures.
Now made them all private by right clicking on them but it does not make any difference:mad:.
Well, it does not matter that much. I will figure it out someday because it is not that important but it intrigues me.
Let us check if that happens with others.
Cheerio and my apologies to those that are wondering what the heck this guy is doing.

The imageshack code that you copy is not without strings attached, it has additional code that turns your image into a link that links back to imageshack so they can lure folks onto the site where they might click on advertising links and therefore generate revenue (I assume).

To eliminate the link-back copy "Embed this image > Forum" and paste it into Notepad. From that, copy only the part beginning with
and paste it into your forum post. Discard everything else (the stuff). Jim

The only problem with that is if you copy the image's URL by right clicking and selecting properties from the imageshack page you get the URL of the reduced-size preview image instead of the actual full sized image you intended to display:

scaled.php

Hey, thanks for the advice.
This one is done as Jim said:

beachtramwonderbra.jpg

And that one is done Kevin's way:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The latter is a bit more complicated but you can indeed see the full size image.

Tks

Not if you go to the image directly. Ive never had that problem if I go to my image directly.
