• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi All,
I am still having problems with my ADE. I have tested all of the runways but all of the planes do not takeoff they just sit on the runway. With my rwy 6/24, the planes all just sit at the Hold Short point. Is there anything that I am doing wrong? All of my other airports are fine as the planes takeoff fine.
 
If they sit on the runway, they have not passed through a hold-short node.

If they sit at a hold-short node, it is too far from the runway.
 
George has given you your answer. RWY 6 has no hold-short nodes!
Also your ATIS channel ID must be the ICAO code and not the airport name. IE: It should be KUNV not University Park.

I have attached a corrected AD2 file :)

I assume this is a work in progress, but your other RWYs have no hold-short nodes and many of your intersecting taxi paths simply pass through the RWYs and do not connect with it. Is this deliberate as it can cause strange AI behaviour.

Thanks, I have got the AI planes issue fixed. As for runways, FSX only uses 36R for takeoff. Is there anyway I can get the ATC to use the other two? Also, for ATC, it just says Tower or Ground. It doesn't say State College Tower it just says Tower. How can I fix this? Also, How do I get lights on all of the runways?

Double click on a RWY and go to the "Lights" tab.

As was already explained, you have no hold-short nodes!

I have corrected all the faults in the AD2 file you posted and have attached it. Please use this file :)

I have my EditVoicePack all ready but I can't get it into FSX. How do I do this? Also, there are settings for the lights. What settings do they have to be at? Also, how do I get the lights before the runway that are elevated?

You "get it in FSX" by reading the instructions carefully, then following them carefully...
 
I kind of have it right. Only my aircraft says "University Park". All of the other aircrafts skip that. What do I have to do?
 
Have you modified both Agent Names and ICAO?
Maybe Phraseology needs updating as well, can't remember, but try it anyway, it won't hurt.
 
Yes I think I have two seperate ones. One under Agent Names I have "AGENT_NAME UNIVERSITY PARK" and under ICAO I have "AIRPORT KUNV". Isn't that all that I need then Update it? What would updating the phraseology do? and how?
 
What do you mean by that. Under Comms I have
AIRPROT TYPE NAME FREQ
KUNV GROUND UNIVERSITY PARK 127.650
(for example)

Where would I put AIRPORT KUNV?
