FSX fuel truck using short cuts

Hi,

What I'm trying to summarize in the title is that the fuel truck goes off its path when close to its target airplane and approches its side. Default behaviour so far.

My problem:
On a large apron with no obstacles around it makes sense what the truck does but in my case the plane's parking spot is on a very narrow apron and the fuel truck is going through grass when taking its "short cut"

Is there any work around to prevent this from happening?
I already tried to add in an extra taxiway node beween the vehicle track connection and the parking spot but that didn't actually help.

Thanks in advance for any hint.

Nobody has an idea?

Am I the only one who has that issue?

Moin Dave,

The fuel truck just does its predefined job - no matter which surface is underneath. I' m afraid that this is a hard coded pattern in FSX. My guess is that the fuel truck 'reads' the size of the relevant parking spot and performs accordingly.
