• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

So how can I easily paint the windows on the plane to light up at night ?????? It looks like somebody already tried to do it.................... Im trying to find a quick fix to get the passenger cabin windows to light up at night. I have tried looking at the lights section in the aircraft.cfg. I have looked at the panel and model CFG files with no luck. Yes, I have clocked the L key and the CNTL L key with no success. Most of these downloaded aircrafts DONT have passenger cabin window lights at night. I am so frustrated............

Isn't there a light map (emissive) texture? It should have the same base name as the texture but might have a suffix like _LM or _EM or _EMIS (which is the MSFS standard). The emissive texture is added to the base texture at night. It should be mostly black (so the fuselage doesn't light up) with only bright parts where the windows are. It would be easier to create a new emissive texture from the base texture rather than trying to edit the existing one which is wrong.

See this , this is the answer.
Also can see the lighted window is not matching but that is PAINTERS matter.
Seems the site you downloaded this is NOT checking anything and just posting.
You better use other place of see and ask at the Original Support group.

This is how it should be.
But IF FSX , This plane is NOT FOR FSX.
Never released for FSX and if use FS2004 model , self illumination parts won't illuminate so can't use as it should be.
And If P3DV4 or later can use like this.
And there is no plan to make for FSX .
Use other plane.
