• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Linking SimConnect into a WASM gauges module

Hello Dai, Thank you very much for your answer. I am going to take a look to the source files, so I can see how to make the correct arrangement on my own solution. Thank you for sharing! BTW, regarding the gauges.h, I never thought it was due to those old macros, thankfully they are not actual...

MSFS20 Linking SimConnect into a WASM gauges module

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing very well! As the thread's subject says, I would like to link SimConnect into a MSFS WebAssembly gauge module. This is because I plan to work on TCAS functionality for a digital VSI that I developed in WASM for the currently available EMB110, and also...

    FSX Bypass Gauge Security

The good news is that it'd be a great idea, especially if I want to debug it constantly. The problem is that one you lastly mentioned Eric. For example, if you want to run any Linux application, you can do so on Windows, but you need Windows 10 because that version contains the Windows Subsystem...

    FSX Bypass Gauge Security

I see here that the hash FSX generates each time a new version of the DLL gauge is loaded, is not like a MD5 or SHA1 hash or maybe it is, but unfortunately, MD5 or SHA1 hashes are generated using Base16 characters (0-9, A-F) and this is not the case here because all hashes generated contain only...

P3D v4 Removing landing lights to illuminate vc cockpit when turned on

I had this issue on the Citation CJ4 I developed because that aircraft has the landing lights on the belly instead of the nose gear or wings, thus making the light Halo illuminating the cockpit. I solved that by creating four attach points on the exterior model: two of them (in the real position...

    Bandit WIP

Hi everyone, Here are some teasers of the EMB-110 Bandeirante I'm currently working on, now that I exported it for the first time to FSX. Still working on some minor bugs, which I don't know to solve. Note: Ignore the rudder problem, the animation was tagged but I had my joystick uncalibrated...

How *not* to start your day... :(

Hi Bill, I'm sorry for what happened to your SSD. I know how does that feel; losing everything because of storage drive damage too bad. I hope you can get a really good replacement. In my personal opinion, I can recommend you either a Kingston SSD or an Intel SSD (I heard some good reviews from...

    wierd animation

Hi Ali, Maybe I can assist you. When you created the animation, did you correctly follow the Tutorial (i.e.: gaps, distances, etc.)? Also, is that me or the jetway model is very big when looking at the scene? I remember I had the same issue when I was being curious and started following the...
