• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Tool Choice for first FS Project

Thanks for the prompt (but sobering!) reply. Just goes to show you how little I know about the tool-P3D incompatibilities. I will look into the 3ds Max student license route...sounds intriguing. If that doesn't work, I'll try Blender. Kent

Tool Choice for first FS Project

I would like to experiment with 3D rendering with the eventual goal of producing an aircraft for P3D (v4.5 or 5). While I am aware that many professionals use 3ds Max for 3D modeling, I'm clearly not yet to the point of committing several hundred dollars a month to rent 3ds Max ($205/month!)...

    WSSL Seletar Airport Singapore

I am COMPLETELY awed about this project! I have always thought Singapore lends itself to the most complete rendition of a country possible in FSX/P3D. Although I am mainly a fixed wing enthusiast, if one were to add heliports as well as the airports, it would be the ideal helicopter playground...

P3D v2 Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS)

Jason, Hope you are still working this project because it looks awesome! I see that you did the Peterson AFB Base Ops...are you planning on doing the military hangars as well? This is just looking wonderful! Kent KCOS
