• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Aprons order problem

'A picture is worth a thousand words' - well, following that wise saying here are four thousand words for you: the concrete layer marked the main asphalt layer marked the additional asphalt layer marked how it looks in FSX ... (I chose the early morning for the screenshot because I like...

    default airport boundaries

Hi Saadoon, Sure, just draw a simple rectangle over the edge of the default airport boundary (1). Right click on the polygon and select 'Exclude General' (2) For the tag make sure that 'Airport Backgrounds' is selected (3). Before you start drawing your new, custom airport background make sure...

Hi Menno, go here and to the following pages to take a look at the objects you want to find. IN ADE you will find all the library objects starting with VEH, for example 'Veh_ParkingLot_Big_03', with the Library Object Mnager (can be selected under 'Tools'). Just print VEH into the empty box...

    FSXA Import Approaches from BGL

Many thanks for the effort you put into this issue, Jim. Remains one question though. Do you own a different ProKey? Why can you delete the double MARKERs and I can' t? This is how I installed the ProKey:

    FSXA Import Approaches from BGL

Thanks Jon! Your answer yesterday just sent me deeper in the issue. I continued testing and investigating. This is the result: EDBC Magdeburg-Cochstedt is quite a unique destination in FSX. I' m talking about the Stock Airport here. Its RWY26 comes with the ILS 'ICOW', 108.75 installed to it...

FSX Can we remove auto-generated automobile traffic from airport areas?

Select 'Add Polygon', draw a polygon which must intersect the road where you see the traffic, select 'Exclude General' and tag it with 'Freeway Traffic'. In case you want to exclude the road as well, you will have to draw a seperate poly and tag it with 'Roads'.

    ADE Version 1.65.5452 Released

First of all a big applause for the new installer and many thanks for the new version! I' m running Application 01.65.5452.12450, Engine 04.65.5452.12346. As it seems there is a tiny bug when saving Generic Buildings. The 3rd line of the Generic Building flag remains empty although I entered...

    Creating islands for FSX

2 things with regard to mesh in FSX: Planet earth as microsoft created it for FSX was a dry ball first showing the mesh which you will experience when flying in default FSX. 'Aces' then spread water where it shold be. Unfortunately that job was done quite generously here and there. Some...
