• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Taxiway to Runway junction

You' re welcome! For that question you will find an answer in the 'Adding Realism to Airports Tutorial' (see the link above within robystar' s post). Accept them as they are or move forward to photoreal textures. :)

    Taxiway to Runway junction

You will see the desired curves, you will see fillets (which very likey were drawn only at one side of the TWY) and AI will follow the paths!

    Taxiway to Runway junction

Nothing :) ! Just take a look at the attached bgl. But even that (at both ends of the RWY) would do:

Can anything be done about taxi lights? They are wrong!!

Hm - smarter? I' m not sure :) , but at least we found a similar approach to tell FSX how it should render some details. Thanks for the flowers anyway! As far as the missing taxi lights in curves are concerned I didn' t give up yet. I' ll certainly keep you posted.

Can anything be done about taxi lights? They are wrong!!

For curves I only use 'Closed Links'. Works perfect! Well, almost perfect. That' s how the same area looks in FSX.

Can anything be done about taxi lights? They are wrong!!

You are aware of the FAA specifications. So am I and many others of this community - I' m sure. Yet there are numerous examples in default airports just as in add on airports where edge lights were implemented as taxi lights - without changing the separation to 20m. But I must admit, setting...

Can anything be done about taxi lights? They are wrong!!

@ commercialcobb: you can easily modify the separation. Just click on 'Edge Lights' and you will see an interface where you can change the separation, brightness and color! @ Jon (if you read this thread): maybe it' s worth considering to set the default value of the separation from 61m to...

    KDEN Help for FSX

Do you run a traffic program as for example MyTrafficX? It sounds to me as if there might be a second KDEN.bgl somewhere in your files. The best tool to check this is Scruffyduck' s Airport Scanner. Otherwise check within the 'Scenery'-directory which comes with your traffic program. In...

    KDEN Help for FSX

You got the scenery add on from Ray Smith? He usually delivers the scenery objects in a separate file which ends with ... OBJ.BGL To take a look at the installed objects just open Ray' s KDEN.bgl first and as a second step say 'File' > 'Import Bgl' and select Ray' s OBJ-file.

    FS9 Default SABA airport altitude

Hi Brian, Try this: remove everything except from the ARP within the SABA scenery. Rebuild the Airport as a new airport with the ICAO location indicator TNCS then. Hope this will solve your problem! And don' t forget to remove the redundant alt-files from the world scenery folder.

    FSX deleting parking objects

You can easily control the appearance of these service cars. Just open your FSX settings, open 'Traffic' and look for 'Airport Vehicle Density' on the left. Move the slider to the left and they will be gone - move it to the right (max.) and you will see the service cars at all parkings which...

    Terrain?

The best tool for that purpose in my eyes is SBuilderX. After finding the 'keyhole' it is pretty easy to use. You will find some guidelines how to create an island in the readme. If you have further questions just get back to me.
