• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    I'm working on scenery... (2020)

Sky Tower, Auckland, New Zealand Since New Zealand is not covered in photogrammetry I decided to make the most iconic landmark of Auckland myself. I went a bit excessive with it and made what may be described as an HD or "hero asset". The model is done. However, I have no clue how to texture...

    I'm working on scenery... (2018)

Been working on a little personal project... the texture for Oracle is done, Oakland Coliseum next. Will be released as freeware when finished (currently only day texture is planned as I need to move onto something more important)

FSX A little project from downunder

Hi, I was lucky enough to find the correct height of the tower (and other information) from the construction company's website and just worked everything else out from there. Official measurements are rarely available but if you look hard enough there's a wealth of information available on...

FSX A little project from downunder

Hi that's an incredibly generous offer! If it's not too much trouble of course I would love to have it. Any idea where/which airport you might like to have your first crack?

FSX A little project from downunder

I'm aware of various parties developing Christchurch and Auckland but I'm not personally involved in those projects so can't really comment. But the fact remains we do not have any high quality version for either up to now so I guess it's anyone's game. (and speaking of Christchurch I haven't...

FSX A little project from downunder

I would love to but I'm not sure how much help I can be at this stage. I'm more or less a beginner myself and the only thing I know how to do now is making 3D models. I don't know how to do the photo underlay and ground poly yet so I'm still a long way away from being able to make a complete...

FSX A little project from downunder

Yes I use Orbx NZ. I would also love to see a good NZCH. Sadly good quality intl airports are sorely lacking for NZ. We really need a decent NZAA (now a major hub for 77ws and A380s), NZCH and NZWN. Hope my little work will get more people interested in NZ :)

FSX A little project from downunder

Hi everyone I'm an amateur developer from New Zealand currently learning how to develop sceneries for FSX/P3D. I've just finished my first little project the new Christchurch airport control tower (http://www.hawkins.co.nz/projects/christchurch-airport-control-tower). This certainly wouldn't...
