• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

hello

someone for export 3ds to mdl in my computer (i follow tuto and i dont have idea how to)

i have wilco falcon 7x with 2 pilots. I removed one in 3dmax and then i need export to MDL again.

if you agree i can pay 50 eur for this little task.

thank you

You can not load a model into 3ds Max and retain all the materials and textures.

Furthermore, decompiling payware models is not permitted.
If you want to have the possibility to remove the pilot models, email the developer and ask for an official update.

no need textures and materials dear Heretic

and i have the OK of Wilco for do it if is only for play by me in my house.

Did you get the source model file from Wilco or did you decompile the model with MCX?
If you are trying to do this, you will be kicked out of here and banned forever... so be careful of what are you doing.

Many of us do this for fun, on the other hand, are several companies that are serious about their work and won't be happy to see anything from them being used without very specific permissions. If you have ever tried to model or do somehting like that, you will realize that it takes months (even years) to do that.

In any event, if you want to start from scratch your own project, you're in the right place to find information. If you are kind and generous, you will have many help as well; I can guarantee you that.

Just my two cents...
Sergio.

I doubt anybody here that could realistically give it a go would be willing to do so for a lot of reasons.
