• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I have a trouble:
I'm using a Light pole taken from a scenery airport
But I'm not able to see any light
here you have the fx files effect
may I have an Help pls?

The file is a php file. don't know what this mean. it's what you get when you download the file. It's just saying what happen. check out that.
 
ok I attached a new file to show I do not see any diffuse light or spot light on the apron
this is the library I used ( the zip file)
can you help me pls

HI I think what you mean is that there is not splash light (or whatever it's called )on the ground. Because I can see light textures on the poles. These are a special light poles. Fsx acceleration have a few from this stock library. You can get ramp light library from Bill Leaming , here in the Downloads section, very cool. but maybe there is not the light pole you are searching. good luck.

don't understand very well the "diffuse map" part, but these lights are arranged for this. you just have to place them. you will have an iluminated ground. you place them like any other object. some ones come with a light pole, and other are just the light splash, very cool. :cool:
 
you see the zip file is a Library with these ramplights
I would like to use these particular ramplights adding only light on the apron
is it possible?
 
Have you got ModelConvertex ?. you can check there the objects. I check the file, and I could see that someone was just the splash light.
I use them in that way for my scenery.

yes me too, I used the ramp light in my scenery but as you see in the file i attached before there is No Light on the apron so I'm asking if there is a solution to illuminate the Apron changing for instance the effect...I do not know...how

Hi Cobber, the file you linked to download is a Php file, again. Could you explain what this mean ?, it's a way to download files. or what else ? :confused:
