• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

a2092 Error

Can someone tell me the probable cause of an "a2092: count must be positive or zero" error. It happened when I attempted to make a static model of a T-6 Texan. I got it once before with a T-34 Mentor and traced the problem to the canopy. I solved it by making a new canopy and never did know why the first one didn't work. With the Texan the problem is somewhere else, because I deleted the canopy and make model still fails with the same error. I just started using FSDS V3 a few weeks ago and am getting along fairly well, but I could sure use some help sometimes.

When do you get this error? Is it in FSDS3 or is it a MakeMDL error when you are exporting.

Hi Arno

Thanks for the reply. I get the error from within fsds (V3.) I go to "create FS object file" and then "scenery object file (MDL)" this is how I have been creating all of my scenery objects. I then would use EZ Library Manager to make the BGL, but in this case the MDL and XML creation fails.

Arno,

I may have misunderstood your question. I presume that the menu option "create FS object file" actually does export data to MakeMDL. It's just that the export is transparent to the user. At any rate, the error message appears when I attempt to create the MDL and XML files.
