• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Version 0.0.95 is 0.0.94(j) with the texture resolution issue mentioned by George in this thread fixed.

That issue was introduced in 0.0.94(j) while attempting to better handle data corruption such as experienced by Roby in the same thread.

But I now have a new one :(

Moving all vertices causes a crash (repeatable). Jon should have the project.

Edit. I was able to move the vertices on create, it is only on editing that it crashes.

Hi Don, everything is going well with this latest version of the dll, and I can do pretty well anything that I like. However, I do have a problem similar to that reported by George above. When I am in the editor, if I even touch the centre mouse scroll wheel ADE crashes without warning. This is happening with both create and edit. I can resize with no problem with the editor tools, and I can zoom using the "+" and "-" keys.

Simple fix. When I recently reworked resizing, it seems I inadvertently removed the initialization of a variable needed for drag.

Norman, your post suggests you have difficulties with the mouse wheel generally, not just when dragging. This fix will correct that when dragging. If your problem extends beyond dragging, please try to identify a repeatable sequence and send me the file you are using.

Thanks, Don, that fixed it for me too.

Ummm, no it doesn't, I can't compile the file now. I have sent the log separately.

Dragging a two point line in ADE then re-editing in the GP Editor leaves one point in its original position.

I needed to re-edit, reset and re-select the line type.

I now have another problem.

I moved one point of a two point line, edited with the GP editor and saved.

It has moved the background rectangle but not the main line texture

In one respect, I'm happy to say this this new problem has nothing to so with the other. The background poly is only drawn in the compiler. The other was an editor issue.

That being said, it's still a problem.

Don

This version will handle the backing poly as well.

If you have moved other lines, you may have to reset them before they display properly. But newly-moved lines should be OK now.

I have no idea what you mean

What are "other lines"?

What are "newly-moved lines"?

As I said, I now always reset after any ADE edit.

This has now cured the drag a line problem. I can do fine adjustments to lines with no problem.

See attached.
