I am pleased to announce the general release of AFLT version 3. Release 3.1.00 is available from http://stuff4fs.com. Navigate to the Airfield Lighting Toolbox (AFLT) page and click the Latest General Release menu item.

AFLT 3 offers numerous improvements to its predecessor. In particular, it is fully compatible with P3Dv4, P3D object library creation is simplified and for light source with Pv4 you have a choice of either effects (inverse mipmaps) or LOD-variable sized 3-plane objects, both offering visible range far beyond what would otherwise be possible.

AFLT version 3 will accept data from Version 2 - albeit with a few self-explanatory warning messages prompting you to make certain updates - most notably to color names. So, if you have created lighting with a release of AFLT Version 2, you only have to install AFLT3 and regenerate your object libraries.

Generating and placing airfield lights in Flightsim has never been easier!

Should you wish clarifications or to report issues, please open a new thread.

Enjoy,
Don

No. I'm the stupid one. I updated the archive file yesterday and neglected to update the menu control file.

It's OK now.
