• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

AI never leaves

I've created a simple FP for 2 aircraft, 737, and 747. Custom paints for the default aircraft (FSX) and now, they won't leave the gates. Well, the 737 never leaves and the 747 won't take off. If I set the time right, it will appear in the air, but set the time just a little before that, and it won't leave. Is there something wrong with me, or is there a solution to this?

I'm using Version 1.5, for FSX, and plans are in and out of modified airport. (Yes, the taxiways and runways are all working, as the default traffic here is still functioning properly, just not my traffic.)

Husky

Update to v 1.6.

Also, post your flightplan so we can look at it. There is nothing wrong with you.

Thanks. I'm not at my FSX computer now,(you know, work and all that) so it will be a bit before I can test. Maybe someone else can help.

Husky, have you updated to version 1.6.nn yet? If not, please do so. (See my post re 1.6.04 for a link.)

Several of your arrival times are annotated "+1". While some of these are valid, others are not (presumably due to a local-time issue in Version 1.5 - now fixed). You'll need to fix these. The simplest way is to load each flight plan in turn and clear/edit the ETA Override field.

I've created a simple FP for 2 aircraft, 737, and 747.
Two flight plans with a total leg count of 35 are hardly simple. If, once you update and rework the arrival times, things still don't work as you expect, perhaps you would identify one or two specific legs that don't work on which we can concerntrate.

ok, well I tested the 747 Monday route that departs KGTF at 12:05 local time. And at that time I do believe that the 737 should not be at KGTF but it is.

I have not made the changes yet but I have got 1.6.xx now and will be making the changes within the hour. Will report back.

sorry, I got the test time wrong. I'm testing the 747 departure time from KGTF on monday at 5:05 Local, not 12:05.

Ok, after much testing, everything is running smoothly. Thank's so much for the help guys.
