• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hey,

some of you might already use "AIG AI Manager" others might never heared of it. Alpha India Group (AIG) has been developing flightplans for many years now, World of AI (WoAI) has used them in their packages a long time ago. In December 2018 AIG has released a extension to AIGAIM called "One Click Installer" (OCI). It allows users to downlaod and install all needed files for a flightplan with one single click. AIGAIM will download the flightplan, models and repaints from the internet and installs them in a own AIGAIM-OCI Addon. The Addon is integrated into V4 using the addon.xml method.

Feedback on Version 0.8 has shown us that users are very happy with the concept of OCI and are even switsching from payware solutions to this freeware tool. Today we will release a new BETA version (0.9) with many new improvments to AIM and to OCI. If you are using the latest version of AIM (0.8.5.6) AIM will update automatically to 0.9. Users running a older version will get a notifaction the the new Version ahs been downloaded and can now be unzipped. In case you are not using AIM but want to you can download now the latest 0.8.5.6 Version and AIM will update to 0.9 as soon as it is released.

At the moment we have already around 1700 Users running AIM on their system and this number grows from day to day.

Well, it can't be all that great, if it's completely legal! Just kidding!!
 
It is great! And so is the MAIW Matrix!
And we still have AIFPvsomething to make our own flightplans and get rid of the superfluous ones.
 
Having just left P3D for X-plane I wish this was also available for X-plane. Really great tool and I used it all the time when on P3D, better than most payware.
 
Wish I knew how to use the Lua scripts that they use but not only for AI but also for scenery/Library Object mdl's/bgl's.
 
When i run AI manager, it says "loading configuration files, it stays there and not open the tool".
 
Ive tried various AI payware packages and they've always fallen short. They are all abandoned since installing AIG-OCI.

In case some of the users have no noticed already: AIM 0.9 comes with an implemented Traffic Board in two options:

1) You can connect directly to v4 and see the Live data on each nearby airport
2) Use AIM to select an Airport and AIM will display all flights of the day (system time)

I am also very excited about the AIM. Only military air traffic is still missing. The military airfields are still empty. But the program itself earns 12 out of 10 points

For Military you can use MATRIX (https://militaryaiworks.com/) it will use the addon emthod as well, but be aware the size is very big and loading times might increase a lot after installing it :)

I'm sure that some Gov-FPs will come to OCI as well at some point - we are finishing the Packing-Tools currently
 
we uploaded yesterday version 0.9.2.0 to our servers, the autoupdater will download them for you as always. Version 0.9.2.0 bringt some bugfixes as well as new sounds. To get them start AIM go to the settings and run "verify SimObject" in the OCI section, this will take now some time as AIM neds to download the 160MB soundpack from AVSIM :)
