• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Hello everyone.

As I have seen in this forum, some users are doing great VC as an Bombardier Challenger 605 VC or an Airbus A350-900 XWB VC. So, as I am starting an Airbus A330-300 started a couple of days ago (I am just a beginner on FS developing and 3D modeling), I would like to know where do you folks find the cockpit's dimensions besides the A320 or B737's ones. I found some documents which shows the layout in the A330's flight deck but it is not sized so I am in the impossibility to make an accurate A330 VC. Any tips please?

Try Google. I just did and there is a wealth of information on the A330 that I could sit for hours sifting through but I'm just not interested.
 
Actually, I went on Google since the beginning. I've found the FCOM, FCTM, ARM, ACAAMP, FDSBP but none of them says how big are the screens or the overhead panels, they just give a sketch of the layout, nothing more. But I just have an idea, if I use the parking break lever as reference (they're probably the same size on both aircraft), I will be in ability to make the pedestal, but about the front panel, if anyone knows if the 320 and 330 EFIS screens are same size? Because it has been a longtime since I've been in a 320 cockpit and I just went there a few times but I know better the 330's as I've done some few landings on the jumpseat.

Thanks a lot! Actually I have found the simpit link and a bit better than the last link (the same doc but for the A330). I have forgotten about searching for A340 cockpit references, probably because I was focussing a lot on the pedestral and so about the TQ.
