I created a polygon for one airport with the proper settings to achieve a totally flat airport and that worked fine. But for the next airport, I did the same thing, but after adding the airport background polygon, I added another runway which was closed and I had missed, thinking it was a taxiway. This resulted in the polygon's flattening ability to ignore all three runways. I deleted the polygon and created a new one and that worked fine. Any thoughts as to why? I took a look at the SHAPefile in ARCGIS, but the polygon just shows the XML schema elements and no altitude, which is what I would expect. Has anyone read anywhere whether the creation order must be Airport-->Runways-->Airport Background Polygon?
