• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v2 Alouette 3

let me explain that with a picture, once the aircraft is textured.... it will look better but in order to differentiate between the faces of the panels I've given them a slightly different bend ... it still has to be worked on.

I would really like to thank fsdeveloper member "Douglas Mckay" for the detailed drawings of the Alouette A3 aircraft which helped me with the gear creations ....

heavy WIP;

If I had more time on hand and I wasn't way into my own Bell 222 project, I would chip in. I can paint a few textures if it helps much :)

But fun I guess too :p I'm looking forward on how you tackle it. Using curves for all those tubes, hoses, whatever, can be convenient I think.

I'll be studying the diagrams of it that I have first... so as to get an idea of what part does what and how much importance does it have accordingly with the visuals.

does anybody have detailed diagrams of "Turbomeca Astazou"?

Currently making that and don't have much information about it, if anybody can help me with it, I would be really grateful.

This is what I have made using different pictures until now.....

Depends on what you want to know, I know a guy who flies Cougars at the Royal Dutch Airforce. And the Cougars are in the same squadron as the Alouettes. I don't know if he's on a mission at this moment though...

Turbomeca Astazou is not fitted on most Alouette 3s, but mostly the ones that navies around the world operate. In general I have seen Artouste fitted onboard most.

Anyway, heres' a preview of how I am going to fit this thing on my helo;

Hardest part is the mid section just behind the filter (Not modeled yet) ....unlike Artouste this has a filter on the front rather than on the sides:

Overall looks good to me, but I think the exhaust should have a slightly wider diameter towards it's end
