MCX Attaching an object to a model

I want to attach an object to one of my ground vehicle models using MCX (it's the only program I am familiar with right now). I want to know where I need to place the object .BGL file so it will display in FSX. I know how to attach the object in MCX, but I can never get the attached object to show up in the sim. I'm not sure where to place the .BGL file so the sim can find it. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Is the object you are attaching part of another BGL file or are they both in the same file? In principle it does not matter where you place the file, as long as it is in an active scenery folder.

That's what I wanted to know. Right now the bgl file is in it's own directory, I needed to know where I should have the file, now I know, thanks. I'll let you know if it works.

I believe it can be in its own folder, as long as that's an active scenery folder as well (and it should be at lower priority in the scenery list then).
