FSX Autogen generation problem (normal buildings + polyline)

Hi!

I'm having a little problem with autogen generation.

The buildings are too big and not always divided correctly. In some areas that would be great if they were polylines and regular (red ones) were excluded. Is that possible?

I think it could be possible to divide shp into two files, one with regular and another with poly buildings, but are there any other methods?

I attach some shots to present how it looks like.

Regards,
Mateusz

Hi,

In your script you are just processing each building into a autogen building. This means a rectangle around the building polygon is made, hence some of them are too big. It would be better filter those out, for example by adding FAREARAT>0.8 to your filter. This will only add those polygons where the area of the polygon is at least 80% of the area of the bounding rectangle.

Next step would be to add those buildings back in another way. Polygonal autogen buildings never worked really well for me, but you could give them a try on some of the buildings.
