Batch convert night textures

Hi Arno

Thanks for the new converterX.
I tried it and added the model name prefix to the texture name.
It is working fine.
However, I added "Add night textures" but there are not night
textures in the texture folder and the model is dark at night.
I have a night texture with the suffix _lm in the same folder with
the defuse texture.
If I do the conversion manually I have the other problem, that in
the defuse texture line is included the folder name with the texture name,
and when I try to add the night texture it comes only with the texture name.

I noticed the same thing in your last development version, but it is not this way
in your old version 1.20 which I am using converting manually.

Thanks
Angelo

Hi Angelo,

Adding night textures in batch convert mode is a new function, so you need version 1.3 for that. Version 1.2 is too old. I just released a new version last week.

The batch convert tool does not make the night textures, it only assigns them to the model. So you have to make sure that they are in the folder.

Are you also using the convert texture option? That would add the prefix normally. In that case it would probably be better to first add the night texture and then convert the textures. So you would need to add the steps in that order to the batch convert.

Hi Arno

I am using the converterX 1.30.
I have tried every trick I could, but it doesn't procces the night texture (_LM) that I have in the folder.
It does procces the difuse texture which is in the same folder with the night texture.

I tried to do the conversion manually but I have another problem, that in
the defuse texture line is included the folder name with the texture name,
and when I add the nightmap texture from the same folder it comes only with the texture name so it doesn't procces the texture neither.
Maybe there is the problem.

I noticed the same thing happenes in your last development version,
But it is not this way in your old version 1.20 which I was using converting manually with no problem.

Thanks
Angelo

Hi,

I guess you are using sketchup. The way textures are read has indeed changed.

When exporting the folder name is removed anyway. So just adding your night texture might work.

Send from my phone using Tapatalk, so excuse the short sentences and possible typos
