• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Become an aircraft programmer

Hello,
one and a half year ago in June 2006 my father crashed with his home-built aircraft and dyed.
So in want to reprogram this plane for FSX. But because I have not a hunch, I ask you herewith with witch it is better to begin programming. Should I begin with repaints of other aircraft or is it better if my first project is self-made?
And then there is one more problem. I don't know how you can make a repait or a hole aircraft. Can you help me with that, too?
I need informations as much as possible! Don't leave a detail. So could you give me a very, very detailed manual for programming?

Thank you for helping.

@Andy:
Thank you for the tutorial. I think it will help me.

@radialronnie:
what plane is this that you are talking about?
Well, I'm thinking about an MC100. I don't believe, that you know this aircraft. So let me give you some pictures.

My father builded this plane himself in our garage. After 55 hours in the air, he crashed on the final of our airport. But the incredible object is that the aircraft crashed with cruising speed of 150kt. So it needed 1200ft GND to get this speed by falling. But with this altitude, the plane was able to fly to the airport as a glider. And so we don't know what happened nearly 2 years later.

Man, thats a nice aircraft. I suggest u to have a deep read throught fsx SDK (remember to upgrade it to sp2).
And that tutorial Andy0708 posted is awesome and really detailed.

SDK IS THE PRIORITY

Thank you all for helping.

@ Radialronnie:
It's a really nice aircraft. I have something like that on my computer, too. It's the MCR01 VLA. So it has separate flaps and ailerons. So it has a rolling-rate about only 2 sec. But the non-VLA (this one I'd like to build) is able to turn in 1 sec.
What type did you show us? Is it an ultra-light aircraft or a normal one?

i don't know to much about the plane but you can ask the guy that made it.:)
This is the link where he was displaying progress

Maybe he will also make a small modification for you if you ask him:)
