• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

See, this is why I can always use the additional help on my projects. I bought this model in hopes to turn it into a simulated aircraft, but will require months and months and months of work just to get it to my level of quality. And since there is no simulated G1000H helicopter avionics except for the fixed wing version, that would need to be done as well. Sure I could tackle all of this on my own, but look at how long it takes me to release an aircraft from start to finish. The Bell 505 is on the backburner as I have the following aircraft to complete before this:
Bell 206B, Bell 222/222B/222UT, Bell 429, Britten Norman BN2A Trislander, Kamov KA26 Hoplite, Maule M7-260 ,Mil MI2 Hoplite, Rockwell Turbo Commander
I also have the Airbus AS365N2 Dauphin, Airbus SA341G/342J Gazelle, Bell 47D1, Robinson R22 Beta II on the cards for development. So much work for just one person, so little time o_O

WOW "another" nice aircraft.
Hope you have Kamov Ka 52 too, if I have spare time I could do the avionic without Flight manual

wonderful simulator.
that gauge screen, I believe it touchscreen. ... that make me think to create 2D panel special for touchscreen only. maybe a valuable info about behave with touch screen would be great.
sorry if off topic, I just can't resist it.

Why not finish one project before taking on the next?

Not working on this one, hence on the backburner. Besides, this one needs too much work to get it looking just right within FSX/P3D, have to rebuild lots of parts since the entire scene is about 1.5+ million polys

Yikes! I'd probably just use the original as a 3D blueprint and rebuild the entire thing from scratch in a more efficient fashion.

Kalong I wish it was LOL! The screen is just a regular display using default FSX gauges and GPS panel.
The cabin is a full size fuselage though.

I just doesn't place for such full scale simulator, that awesome, but I prefer simple one like this:

Looks amazing, but...that combination of TrackIR, 3 monitors in surround and a stationary touch screen looks like a recipe for spatial disorientation... o_O

I don't know as I doesn't have TrackIR( not sell in local store), I ever build similar device using free track and I got motion sickness (headache for couple hours after using it).
in other way, even it slow but it sure, I preparing to have 3 monitor + 1 touch screen. don't know when it accomplish, still searching the possibility to do DIY. buy internationally isn't an option, the risk too high.

Howdy all,

So here we are, the mesh for this model has been completely remodeled including the interior. Polygon levels are now much lower allowing the model to export properly into the platforms. The last piece of the puzzle needed is the G1000 with helicopter specific parameters added and the default gauges from FSX amd P3D will work just fine for this project. This is not going to happen soon as I have an Airbus A320NEO currently in the shop. Model has been optimised by Oniel Black/MD Designs for Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations.

It's been a while since I worked on this project, so I decided to dust it off and hopefully have it fully finished this year.

I cannot wait to try that out!

Question: Before Hovercontrol shut down there was talk (and progress shots) of an update to the Bell 206 for FSX either by Dodosim or Milviz. I cannot remember where, but the VC cockpit works-in-progress shots were incredibly well detailed and photorealistic.

Did work on that stop when HC shut down? I tried emailing Dodosim several months back on it and got no reply. I was hoping it would release because I tend to only fly the Bell 206B in FSX.

Whatever happened of that project?
