Black textures in MCX 1.7

Hello,

I am trying to use the newest version of MCX. All my textures are black, yet it appears that the import was okay. When I use 1.6, all my textures appear as normal. This happens with any type of file I work with (dae, mdl, gtlf). Windows11. Net 8.0 framework.

Does it matter which texture format you use?

That's weird, let me double check here to be sure nothing is broken. But I'm quite sure all formats works fine here.

What's your operating system and graphics card type?

I am using a MSI gaming laptop. 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.70 GHz. 16.0 GB RAM. Windows 11 24h2.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU

That hardware should be fine. If you load one of the textures in the texture converter tool (in special tools manu), does it also show up as black there?

Ok, so the issue is not in loading the texture data, then it is somewhere in the renderer probably.

Can you test if the development release 1.8 has the same issue?

Another thought, does the object maybe have black vertex colors?
