Hi folks,
I am looking to simulate the "burble" behind an aircraft carrier... Essentially it's wake turbulence caused by the ship's superstructure. So that means creating some sort of turbulent updrafts and downdrafts acting on the aircraft. I know that there are programs which work with turbulence - so I am looking for some ideas as to the best way to go about it, that would be able to be used by any aircraft. The other catch is that I don't want it to be completely random, I want to be able to control exactly how much updraft/downdraft there is at each moment/point in space... Does anyone know or have a suggestion? Can I set the wind somehow, or am I stuck calculating and writing accelerations/velocities to the aircraft itself?
Thanks very much,
Farley
