FSX Can I Remove placement info from objects

Hello Guys

I am wondering if I am able to remove placement information from objects imported from an airport BGL file?
I have two embedded BGL's for the same airport and wish to use models from each in my edition. This is purely for personal use only and not for redistribution.
I can import the objects and save them to a BGL but they are then placed as duplicates if I edit my project using ADEx.

I hope that makes sense 🤪

Hi,

In the placement editor in MCX you can add or remove placements. So if you removed them there they are not exported afterwards.

Thanks for the reply Arno. I guessed it would be something simple.
I have gone through and removed all the placement information from the objects within the file, however when I then go to export the file MCX begins to export all the objects but I do not get a BGL file afterwards so I guess I am not completing something correctly. I have attached the event log if you could take a look.

Cheers

Arno I have just noticed the two BGLScan error messages at the end of the Event Log. I have just added the 1.50 version and this has occurred. I have discovered that I am unable to export Scenery no matter what. Perhaps I have failed to setup the new version correctly??

Arno, a bit more investigation. I reinstated the previous version of my MCX and have been able to achieve what I wanted, so I'm not sure where the error is occurring from. I have attached the "about" info for both of my MCX installs. I am using the one on the right!

Cheers
Andrew

I think you don't have the bglcomp path set correctly in the options. It's probably pointed to bglscan instead of bglcomp.
