I am building an airstrip in FS9 that is not in the sim at default but is a real airstrip.
I have run into a small problem. The airstrip is in the mountains in Idaho. FS has chosen to draw the river too far to the north.
I would like to exclude or remove a section of the river so I could create a new scenery bgl that has the river in the proper place.
So far here is what I have.
The BGl file the river is in is ST917150.bgl. Located in the scenery/namw/scenery folder.
I have a screen shot calibrated in SBuilder 205 and the bgl file placed over it.
To give you an ideal of how far off it is the center two push pins mark both ends of the runway. The river should be right up on runway 34 and the mountain should be right at the back of RWY 16.
Is there a tutorial out there that can give me detailed instructions on removing this section of the river and then drawing it back in?
Thanks
Dave
