Cannot load in custom model

Hello, I export my model from blender using the Asobo exporter. Everything works fine but when I try to load my model inside MSFS using the “fspackagetool.exe” I get this errors does anybody know why?

It worked one time on one model but not anymore.

First thing, check your settings in the Asobo exporter.

The "Textures" setting will determine the relative path to the textures folder. I have mine set to "..\texture". It looks like the texture path is not set correctly which is why you are getting the "Model texture not found in the texture directories" error.

Once you have that sorted you can start to worry about the other errors.

Then your model is still looking for the textures in the wrong place. And the way to get the model to look in the right place is with the texture setting.

Look at your folder structure in

C:\MSFS Whaley\My Projects\fushi-sun-siyam\PackageSources\

and look at your GLTF file in a text editor.

Look for this line: "export_texture_dir"

In my case it is "export_texture_dir" : "..\\texture", and because the GLTF is in the model folder (it's an aircraft) this line tells it to go up one directory (to the airplanes route directory) and then into the texture directory and it works because the GLTF tells the same where to find the textures and that is how my folder structure is arranged.

Look in your dockingairf.gltf and see where "export_texture_dir" points to in relation to C:\MSFS Whaley\My Projects\fushi-sun-siyam\PackageSources\Sun-Siyam-Iru-Fushi-ModelLib\dockingairf

Where is your texture folder and where is dockingairf.gltf looking for them?

Your texture nomenclature suggests "Roughness" stands for the COMP, or PBR derivative texture, however "metal" textures are not allowed and it's presence implies "Roughness" may indeed be a grayscale map. None of this will prevent a build, although quality will suffer if the material definitions are not adhered to. I avoid hyphens except exactly where the SDK calls for them, imo underscores are more palatable for some of the classic executables.
