• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX Cessna 402B FSX

if you are looking for accurate information on the 402 try contacting cape air, there fleet for the most part is all 402's, and im sure that they would be more than happy to help, and possibly throw a POH your way

Don't let it go to waste!!!

Learjunkie

I am a Check and Training Pilot on the 400 series in Australia (402s and 404/414s). I have also worked for Raytheon under contract for FS9 development on their T6B, full project from 3D (gmax) to textures and MFD functionality.

I would be very happy to take high res texture images, IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue) images and offer flight model feedback as required to assist you in your task. I know what you'll need and I can upload to a 'dropbox' account should you wish to proceed.

Carenado has just completed an excellent C340, but there is a huge gap in the market for a 402/404. Our 404s are in the 32,000hr mark, and must be scrapped at 34,000. The 402s? On is a pearla - with roof mounted DVD player, wireless headsets, twin 430's, leather etc. Between the workhorses and the owners private machine, I think we could cover the whole spectrum of these machines?

Your model looks brilliant and I know how much time has gone into it. I can also send you pdf copies of the POH for the 402A and the 402C. Drop me a line if you wish?

Cheers

Wow my eyes took out a fork and a knife watching this. Really nice work, I love your technique of placinga texture on the model to cut out the windows, that was genius.

C421 Golden Eagle

Thanks guys...
The 402B fuselage is getting closer to the final shape..and the tip tanks and engines need rebuilding in next few days..
The C421C and III versions will be included with the C402B and C402C release since they share some of the same parts...
Thanks to everyone who has offered to help with info.. ;)

I'm now eating an ice cream while my sight is fixed on your plane.
I am now putting the spoon inside the ice cream, my eyesight still hasn't moved.
I am now removing said spoon from ice cream, once again, my eyes didn't move.
I am now directing the motion of the spoon towards me still with my eyes fixed on your plane.
I am now opening my mouth to receive the contents of the spoon, my eyes didn't move yet.
The spoon collided with my chin, my mouth is open and my eyes are still, my line of sight directed towards your plane.
The contents of the spoon fell on my shirt. My eyes are still glued to the screen.
My spoon is now directed towards the ice cream...
The cycle continues.

OMG I just ate a bowl of ice cream then the first post I come back and read is this! :D

lol I am opening a Ben & Jerry's ! It is just renders and miles from being complete like your work! You can model, texture and animate and make videos..all stunning work to say the least. I make silly renders..no texture..no animations..no videos :(

Hi Brandon, the Md-600n is at the VC stage..it exports fine into fsx with basic fsx materials ...now its coding and animations :(

arrgh... (has no ice cream)... Just staring at the 421 with those oval windows, trying to keep the drool from occurring...

Brilliant modeling..!

When I first got the Cessna 421 Golden Eagle by Flight1 years ago, I flew the HECK out of that bird. I had such a blast. That babe in the copilot seat, the excellent model features, the split flaps, oval windows, cool landing gear, the hum of the engines at cruise, the interior... What a great model that was. Great to see a modern one being done that is more up to date with present modeling capabilities.

The beauty of a community such as this one, is you have an endless list of beta testers available to you, and like minded people who understand the design process and the complications that come along with it much better than the average simmer.

I for one am still excited to see what you come up with! I have previously said I would never fly in a 2D cockpit, but I might have to revise that statement based simply on the exterior modeling. Has a VC been planned, or is that something secondary at this point?

Thanks for the good feedback and advice. VC will be standard on all the models. I learn new stuff everyday so heck knows what will be added to the final release...

new engines and main gear.. TGIF
